IAPPA Conducts Close Protection Training in Sierra Leone
Last Week, IAPPA’s Executive Director for the Middle East, Charles Mallice, flew from the United Arab Emirates, where he is based, to conduct a Close Protection Awareness Training in the African country of Sierra Leone.
Despite all the difficulties currently keeping some IAPPA academies closed or with restricted activities due to local measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, the mission of achieving high-level uniform standards for the security industry worldwide continues.
In the West African country, the Beowulf Worldwide Close Protection Team was introduced to the guidelines conveyed in any executive protection training by the IAPPA, as well as requirements for the certification as CCPA (Certified Close Protection Agent). Among tactics and strategies, the officers were also presented to our code of honour and what makes IAPPA-certified professionals special.
Our seasoned instructor and one of the world’s most recognized experts, Charles Mallice, emphasized that no distance is too much to strengthen our profession: “IAPPA stands for the importance of regular training for Close Protection Agents and that you can always rely on each other as a team. Only this way, we can serve our clients successfully.”
